Experimental duo Venera — the collaborative project between Korn guitarist James “Munky” Shaffer and composer/filmmaker Chris Hunt — have officially announced their sophomore album Exinfinite. The album is due out on September 12th via PAN, and the first single “Tear” is available now, complete with a new video directed by Samanta García.

A press release describes the upcoming full-length as “darker, heavier and more percussive than its predecessor.” The 9-song release also brings in several high-profile guests from the world of avant-garde and electronic music, including Chelsea Wolfe, FKA twigs, and Dis Fig.
