Dutch slam/death metal outfit Korpse have put their own punishing spin on a Lamb Of God classic.
The band have included a brutalized rendition of “Now You’ve Got Something To Die For” on their newly released EP ‘Forbid,’ which arrived today, August 21st, via Unique Leader Records.
Originally released by Lamb Of God in 2004, the groove metal staple has now been given a significantly heavier makeover by Korpse, with the Dutch outfit transforming it into a full-on slam assault.
You can hear Korpse‘s take on the track below.
The three-song EP also finds the band doubling down on their uncompromising approach, with Korpse offering the following statement on ‘Forbid’:
“‘Forbid’ is an uncompromising piece of brutality. Extended with lyrics and a message that adds a new layer of aggression. Make no mistake, this is not an attempt to fit into anyone’s comfortable picture. Korpse will remain None So Brutal.”
