Mammoth have announced a change behind the kit, with touring drummer Garrett Whitlock departing the Wolfgang Van Halen-led band and Nathan Bulla stepping in.
Bulla is best known for his work with Canadian instrumental progressive metal outfit Intervals, as well as Protest The Hero. His addition also brings in a musician whose work has caught the attention of Van Halen, who has been a vocal fan of Intervals over the years.
The band announced the lineup change on October 29, confirming that Bulla will make his live debut with Mammoth when the group resumes its “The End” tour on October 31 in Santiago, Chile. The tour will head to Europe shortly afterward.
Mammoth issued the following statement regarding the change:
“Touring drummer Garrett Whitlock and Mammoth have agreed to amicably part ways. We thank Garrett for his time with Mammoth and wish him the best in all his future endeavors.
Nathan Bulla (Intervals, Protest the Hero) will be joining us for drummer duties with the continuation of The End tour beginning Oct 31st in Santiago, Chile and moving on to Europe shortly after. Check mammoth.band for all the dates and VIP information.
See you out there!!”
