MÉLANCOLIA Announce New Album ‘random.access.misery’, Drop “ALL_IS_RUST” Video

Mélancolia are set to return with their sophomore album random.access.misery on August 29th via Greyscale Records/Nuclear Blast. The Australian blackened nü-metal outfit have ushered in this next chapter with a video for the album’s opening track, “ALL_IS_RUST”, filmed by Steller Media.

Vocalist Alex Hill offered some insight into what fans can expect from the upcoming record, which features guest appearances from Hunter Young (Psycho-Frame, Moodring) and Christopher Mackertich (Dregg).

“While there has been a departure from straight up deathcore, we feel this song sounds even more representative of Mélancolia. And after testing the waters debuting this song in Europe earlier this year we can confirm this one is already a crowd favourite.”

“We are bringing a fresh sound to an otherwise stale scene, you will not hear what we are doing from anyone else. We are setting the trend as we set the bar for modern heavy music. Love us or hate us, you will fucking remember us.”
