Two Metallica concertgoers in Perth have received lifetime bans from Optus Stadium after scaling a production tower during the band’s November 1st, 2025 performance. According to local reports, the pair breached a security barricade before climbing the structure — remaining atop it for roughly 15 to 20 minutes until police intervened.
The individuals were identified as 20-year-old Beau William Loch Rollings and 23-year-old Rory Hugh Culbert. Both were arrested once authorities safely removed them from the tower.
Per Perth Now, Rollings admitted he had been drinking prior to the stunt. He has since been fined $1,000 and ordered to pay $308.80 in court costs. Culbert reportedly received a similar penalty alongside his permanent ban from the venue.
