Due to the renewed interest in Metallica‘s “Master Of Puppets” caused by the appearance of the song in a pivotal scene in the season four finale of the Netflix hit show ‘Stranger Things‘, the band has decided to release an animated music video for the 36-year-old gold-certified title track to their 6x multi-platinum third studio album. The creators of the show, The Duffer Brothers, wrote the scene in the episode specifically with the “Master Of Puppets” in mind and in the weeks following the premiere of the episode, the streams of the track have launched the song back into various charts.
