Moodring Stream “Anywhere But Here” From Upcoming ‘Death Fetish’

Moodring have shared a visualizer for their latest single “Anywhere But Here,” offering another preview of their upcoming album ‘Death Fetish’, which is due out March 27th via SharpTone Records.

The project’s creative driving force, Hunter Young, explained that the song reflects on the unraveling of a relationship shaped by artistic collaboration that eventually turned sour.

“‘Anywhere But Here‘ is about the breakdown of a relationship where a shared creative world became a source of manipulation and envy. The chorus lyric is coming from a place of irony, but also represents a longing for freedom and steadiness.”

Despite continuing to deal with serious health challenges, Young has remained active creatively, channeling his energy into multiple releases currently in the Moodring pipeline — with ‘Death Fetish’ just one of several projects underway.

He also addressed fans reacting to the rollout of singles, writing on social media:

“Y’all complaining about singles like there isn’t ANOTHER whole ass album, EP, and a gaaaaang of covers. Just listen to it. It will be okay, promise.”
