Alternative metal outfit Moodring have released a new music video for “Gunplay (Suicidal 3way),” the latest single from their upcoming album death fetish.
The visual was directed by Olli Appleyard of Static Dress, bringing a stylized presentation to the track as the band continues to roll out previews of the record. The song marks the fourth single to arrive ahead of the album’s release.
Band mastermind Hunter Young reflected on the track’s personal significance and the controversy surrounding the album’s title:
“This one means a lot to me and is one of my favorites on the record, but I’m ever aware that what I enjoy and what others do are very different things. With the album being all but banned everywhere because of two simple words, it feels like vindication.”
death fetish is scheduled to arrive March 27th via SharpTone Records, continuing Moodring’s blend of alternative metal, atmospheric textures, and emotionally charged songwriting.
