Serpentine Dominion, the supergroup featuring Killswitch Engage guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz, Cannibal Corpse frontman George “Corpsegrinder” Fisher, and former The Black Dahlia Murder drummer Shannon Lucas, is actively working on a follow-up to their 2016 self-titled debut album.
During a recent appearance on Suicide Silence guitarist Chris Garza‘s Garza Podcast, Dutkiewicz provided an update on the band’s progress, stating:
“I’m looking to finish up… I’ve got five songs done, I’d like to get another five written for another Serpentine Dominion record.”
One uncertainty surrounding the new record is the involvement of Lucas, as Dutkiewicz noted that the drummer appears to have largely stepped away from playing in recent years.
Before Serpentine Dominion makes its return, Dutkiewicz remains busy with other projects. Along with touring in support of Killswitch Engage’s latest album, This Consequence, he is also focused on Burn Eternal, his upcoming reunion project with former Killswitch Engage vocalist Howard Jones.
