Straight edge deathcore crew No Cure have released their guest-heavy new EP, I Hope I Die Here, today, December 06th. This conceptual offering pays homage to the band’s roots in Alabama, enlisting a roster of guest musicians from their home state to craft what serves as a brutal love letter to the region.
Coinciding with the EP’s release, the band has also debuted a music video for “Hang Me From The Bible Belt,” featuring a fiery guest appearance by Daniel McWhorter, vocalist of Gideon.
No Cure frontman Blaythe Steuer shared the following about the track:
“I am so proud of this song. I sat on the intro riff for a couple years and I’m so happy it finally found its place. This song came together so well and it says what I’ve needed to say my whole life. Thank you so much to Dan singing on this with us.”
The video below was directed by Nick Chance (Beautiful Child of God) who also guests on the EP, appearing on “Don’t Need Your Help“.
