Pierce The Veil have added another milestone to their growing RIAA tally, with their track “Besitos” officially being certified gold in the United States.
The song, which opens the band’s 2011 sophomore album Selfish Machines, reached the certification threshold on May 28th, 2026, as confirmed by the RIAA.
The album itself was previously certified gold in July 2025, and this latest achievement marks another individual track from the record reaching a major sales and streaming benchmark.
In recent years, Pierce The Veil have seen a steady rise in both gold and platinum certifications as their catalog continues to gain traction across streaming platforms and long-term sales.
For context, a gold certification in the U.S. represents 500,000 units, which includes a combination of physical sales, digital downloads, and streaming equivalents.
