Metalcore pioneers Poison The Well have dropped a mysterious new teaser video, signaling that 2026 may finally see the arrival of their long-awaited follow-up to 2009’s The Tropic Rot. The Floridian band first announced the album back in the summer of 2024, and fans have since received glimpses of new material, including January 2025’s single “Trembling Level” and the previously unreleased track “Urchin,” which appeared on a 12″ pressing of the single.
The teaser, posted on the band’s social media earlier today, January 9, hints at a reveal scheduled for January 13. Alongside the new material, speculation is mounting about a potential U.S. tour announcement in support of the album.
With a new album nearly on the horizon and cryptic teasers fueling anticipation, Poison The Well are set to return to the forefront of the metalcore scene after a long hiatus.
