Poppy had her ‘Welcome To Rockville’ set cut short on May 8 in Daytona Beach, Florida, after a severe weather warning forced organizers to shut down the performance just moments into her opening track.
The set began with “have you had enough?”, but was halted midway through the song as festival officials issued an urgent weather alert. Attendees were instructed from the stage to immediately seek shelter in their vehicles, designated camping areas, or the festival’s grandstands as conditions worsened.
Due to the complexity of the festival’s tightly packed schedule and the large number of artists performing across multiple stages, Poppy’s set was not rescheduled or resumed after the weather system passed.
The interruption added another unexpected disruption to the day’s programming at ‘Welcome To Rockville’, which had already seen multiple notable moments across the festival weekend in Daytona Beach.

Justin Sells your not even kidding, I like some of her songs but that 1 minute of her first song was all I needed to hear to know that she absolutely can’t sing live at all she sound horrible I was actually wondering if Rockville lied just to get her off the main stage 😂
