PRIMER 55 Reunite with Classic Lineup, Eyeing Return to the Stage

Nü-metal outfit Primer 55 are officially back. The band has confirmed their reunion with several key members rejoining the fold alongside founding guitarist/vocalist Bobby Burns. Longtime collaborator and vocalist Donny “The DRP” Polinske, bassist Joshua Toomey, and drummer Preston Nash are all back on board as the group prepares for the next chapter.

While specifics are still under wraps, the band has reportedly been fielding offers for reunion performances. More details are expected soon.

Primer 55 originally disbanded in 2015, with Burns stepping away from music due to significant health complications in the years that followed. Their return marks a hopeful new era for the band—and one that fans of early 2000s nü-metal will no doubt be watching closely.
