Puscifer Debut New Song ‘ImpetuoUs’ and Tease Comic Book Series

Puscifer have unveiled their latest track, “ImpetuoUs,” the third and final single ahead of their upcoming album ‘Normal Isn’t’, set to arrive on February 6th. The alternative rock trio is fronted by acclaimed vocalist Maynard James Keenan (also of Tool and A Perfect Circle). Speaking on the new song, Keenan shared:

“I’m looking forward to hearing where this song takes people. As the writers, we forget that in a way, we are carpenters and that we’ve been with this song since it was a pile of lumber. Our perspective may differ from the final occupant of this space we’ve constructed. Shelter, Bridge or Gallows, Coffin? Curious to find out.”

The visuals accompanying “ImpetuoUs” also preview an upcoming Puscifer comic book series, Tales From The Pusciverse. The first issue focuses on the character Bellendia Black, previously introduced in the band’s “Pendulum” video. Keenan wrote the story and co-edited the series alongside Julie Gonzales, with Marlin Shoop providing the artwork. Further details about the comic are expected in the coming months.
