Saint Asonia — the hard rock supergroup featuring members of Staind and Three Days Grace — have officially released their cover of Black Sabbath’s classic “Paranoid.”
Though the track’s origins date back to 2022 during the recording sessions for their Extrovert EP, the band chose to unveil it now as a heartfelt tribute to the late Ozzy Osbourne, who passed away earlier this year.
Sharing the song’s backstory, the group stated:
“We actually recorded this cover years ago while we were recording the Extrovert EP. It didn’t end up on the EP, and when we recently lost Ozzy, we all talked, and decided now was the time to put it out there. It’s just our own little tribute to the band and the man who changed the landscape of heavy music forever, and opened the door for bands like us. We love you Oz.”
