Shadows Fall have officially announced a special hometown performance celebrating the band’s 30th anniversary this summer.
The veteran Massachusetts metalcore outfit will take the stage on July 18th at the MGM Aria Ballroom in Springfield, MA, marking what has become officially recognized as ‘Shadows Fall Day’ in the city. Last year, Springfield mayor Domenic J. Sarno formally declared the date in honor of the band’s contributions to heavy music and their hometown scene.
Joining Shadows Fall for the anniversary event will be fellow metalcore standouts Unearth and Within The Ruins.
At the moment, the performance stands as the band’s only confirmed live appearance for 2026.
After initially entering hiatus in 2015, Shadows Fall reunited in 2021 and have since been steadily working on their long-awaited first new studio album since 2012. While details on that release remain under wraps, the group have continued making select live appearances in recent years.
