Silly Goose are taking their fast-food concert antics to a new level, with the nu-metal outfit announcing an officially sanctioned performance at a Denny’s location following their recent stunt at the diner chain’s corporate conference.
The band have built a reputation for staging guerilla performances at fast-food restaurants over the years. While their growing profile has since taken them to international tours and major festival appearances, they haven’t completely abandoned their unconventional approach to live shows.
Their antics did hit a snag last year, however, when frontman Jackson Foster was arrested following a performance at a Chicago, IL gas station.
More recently, Silly Goose made headlines in September after crashing a Denny’s corporate conference, where Foster pitched the idea of an official Silly Goose and Denny’s Grand Slam collaboration.
It appears that campaign may have paid off. Following the restaurant chain’s previous connections with the hardcore and pop-punk scenes, Denny’s have now partnered with the band for a special live event.
The performance is scheduled for November 7 at a Denny’s location in Norcross, GA. The event will also feature a special menu offering dubbed the “Goose Slam,” bringing the band’s proposed collaboration one step closer to reality.
