Frontman Jackson Foster of Silly Goose has revealed he suffered a broken nose during the band’s April 11th performance at the Majestic Theatre in Madison, WI.
The injury occurred early in the set—during just the second song—when a fan rushing the stage for a dive accidentally collided with Foster. The incident happened as Foster was attempting to help the fan up, making it a case of unfortunate timing while engaging with the crowd.
Despite the severity of the injury and heavy bleeding, Foster pushed through and completed the performance. At one point, the amount of blood reportedly caused one of his microphones to short out mid-set, but he continued regardless. Following the show, he sought medical attention at a local hospital.
