Six Feet Under Welcome Ruston Grosse As New Drummer Ahead Of Heavy Touring Run

Six Feet Under have officially added drummer Ruston Grosse (ex-Master, Rumplestiltskin Grinder, and more) to their lineup as the veteran death metal outfit prepares to embark on an extensive international touring schedule.

Grosse replaces longtime drummer Marco Pitruzzella, with the band revealing that they have been working with their new recruit behind the scenes for several months before making the lineup change public.

In a statement shared on social media, the band expressed excitement about the transition and the new energy Grosse is bringing to the group.

“We also would like you to help us welcoming Our New Drummer!! Ruston Grosse who has previously worked with Master, and others! We have been working together with Ruston for a few months preparing, and formally since the beginning of May after we parted ways with Marco Pitruzzella.”

The band went on to describe Grosse as a major addition to their rhythm section and said they are looking forward to hitting the road with him as they begin a busy run of dates stretching through Europe, North America, and South America later this year.

Grosse also shared his enthusiasm about joining the band for the upcoming touring cycle.

“Super stoked to be filling in on drums for Six Feet Under this coming June throughout Europe alongside the killers in Embryonic Autopsy. We’re gonna be tearing through clubs and festivals across Europe including Hellfest, Graspop, Copenhell, Mystic Festival and more!!! Check the dates and see you out there! WAR IS COMING!”

The lineup change arrives as Six Feet Under continue supporting their latest studio album, ‘Next To Die’, which was released in 2024.
