SLIPKNOT Complete Reported Eight-Figure Catalog Sale

Slipknot have officially inked a deal to sell a portion of their royalties and publishing catalog, confirming months of speculation that the agreement was valued in the nine-figure range. The Hollywood Reporter has verified the sale to HarbourView Equity Partners, though neither the exact price nor the percentage of the stake involved has been disclosed.

The deal spans both recorded royalties and publishing rights, marking one of the most notable catalog moves the heavy music world has seen. Speaking on the partnership, percussionist and creative visionary M. Shawn “Clown” Crahan offered:

“After 25 years of taking on the music business, we find ourselves with a partner that is willing to sign onto continuing what Slipknot started. Only they want to go even bigger. Get ready. Hail The Knot.”

HarbourView’s founder and CEO Sherrese Clarke also issued a statement highlighting the band’s impact across multiple generations:
