After years of speculation and delays, the long-discussed Look Outside Your Window project from members of Slipknot finally has an official worldwide release date attached to it.
According to a new announcement shared through the album’s Instagram page, the record will receive a broader release on June 12 across multiple physical formats, including six vinyl editions and a Digipak CD.
Among the newly announced variants are:
- Blue Transparent Leaf-Filled
- Clear Purple
- Bubblegum Pink
- Silver Nugget
- Golden Pearl
- Eco Black
Most of the pressings are limited editions, with the Blue Transparent Leaf-Filled version positioned as the premium collector’s option at a substantially higher price point than the standard variants.
Several editions reportedly sold out shortly after pre-orders went live, including the Clear Purple, Silver Nugget, Golden Pearl and Blue Transparent Leaf-Filled versions.
The album was originally recorded during sessions surrounding Slipknot’s All Hope Is Gone era and features contributions from Corey Taylor, Shawn Crahan, Sid Wilson and Jim Root.
The release also includes guest appearances from Cristina Scabbia of Lacuna Coil, who performs on two tracks.
Prior to this wider rollout, Look Outside Your Window was only available as a limited Record Store Day exclusive pressing, restricted to roughly 2,300 copies.
At the time of publication, no official confirmation has been made regarding a digital or streaming release.
