Industrial nü-metallers Spineshank have encountered a setback at the start of their first UK tour since 2023. Frontman Jonny Santos was unable to make the trip due to a passport issue, leading the band to bring in James Mills of Hostile as a temporary fill-in for the opening dates.
The band shared the update in a statement issued this morning, November 6th:
“HI EVERYONE. WE’VE ARRIVED IN THE UK…WELL MOSTLY. UNFORTUNATELY JONNY ENCOUNTERED AN ISSUE WITH HIS PASSPORT AND WAS NOT ABLE TO FLY. THIS IS BEING CORRECTED AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE AND WE EXPECT HIM TO JOIN US BY THE WEEKEND.
AS THE REST OF THE BAND ARE HERE AND WE DON’T WANT TO LET ANYONE DOWN, OUR FRIEND JAMES MILLS FROM HOSTILE WILL FILL IN ON VOCALS FOR THE MANCHESTER SHOW (AND NORTHAMPTON IF NEEDED). WE ARE SO SORRY FOR THIS UNEXPECTED ISSUE BUT ARE EXCITED TO BE ABLE TO PLAY ALL OF THE SONGS YOU WANT TO HEAR. MORE INFO ON JONNY‘S ARRIVAL ASAP
