The upcoming rhythm game ‘Stage Tour’ is continuing to build out its soundtrack, with Metallica, Megadeth, Slipknot, Olivia Rodrigo and a host of other major acts now confirmed for the title.
Positioned as a spiritual successor to ‘Guitar Hero’ and ‘Rock Band’, ‘Stage Tour’ is being developed by RedOctane Games, whose team includes veterans of the original ‘Guitar Hero’ and ‘DJ Hero’ franchises.
The game is slated to arrive on December 10th and will feature more than 90 playable songs. A selection of the tracks confirmed so far includes:

The full scope of the soundtrack is still taking shape, with additional tracks expected to be revealed during this week’s ‘Gamescom’ event in Cologne, Germany.
A number of other artists have already been confirmed for inclusion, although their specific songs have yet to be announced. That list includes Metallica, Megadeth, The Cure, Billy Talent, Def Leppard, ZZ Top, Black Eyed Peas, Olivia Rodrigo, Blink-182, Duran Duran, The Clash, Fall Out Boy, The Darkness, Genesis, Walk The Moon, Spacehog, Tenacious D and Wheatus.
Beyond its soundtrack, ‘Stage Tour’ is also aiming to offer a broad range of instrument support. The developers have partnered with Gibson, Kramer, Epiphone and Mesa Boogie, while real-world Kramer and Gibson guitar peripherals have already been unveiled. Players will also be able to use microphone and drum kit peripherals, with a custom MIDI drum hub adapter allowing users to connect their own electronic drum kits.
A newly released trailer offers another look at the gameplay and features headed to the title, with Mötley Crüe‘s “Kickstart My Heart” providing the soundtrack.
‘Stage Tour’ is currently slated for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Steam, Epic Games Store and Nintendo Switch 2.
