The Amity Affliction Premiere “Bleed” Music Video Ahead of ‘House Of Cards’ Album

Australian metalcore mainstays The Amity Affliction have dropped a new single from their upcoming studio album ‘House Of Cards’, out April 24th via Pure Noise Records. The latest track, “Bleed”, arrives with a music video directed by Daniel Daly, now streaming below.

Vocalist Joel Birch explained the inspiration behind the track:

“This song is a bit of a ‘fuck you’ to people online who leave comments like they know me personally, or know anything about what’s happening in my life, and a bit of a reminder to myself that I am not beholden to that idea, and I am the person I know myself to be. ‘ I bleed the way I bleed…’ is my way of saying that I am the way I am, not the way I am perceived to be by people who don’t actually know me and have formed or projected an idea of me onto me by way of social media.”

“House Of Cards” marks a new chapter for the band, as Jonny Reeves (Kingdom Of Giants) replaces Ahren Stringer on bass and vocals following the latter’s departure. Birch and the band are set to continue pushing their melodic yet heavy sound into their next era.
