The Crimson Armada have unveiled their own take on Lamb Of God’s classic track “Laid To Rest.” The Ohio-based deathcore outfit recently released the cover, putting a heavier and more modern spin on one of the most recognizable songs from the Virginia metal giants’ catalog.
Originally appearing on Lamb Of God’s landmark 2004 album ‘Ashes Of The Wake’, “Laid To Rest” remains one of the band’s signature songs and a staple of modern metal. More than two decades after its release, the track continues to inspire a new generation of heavy artists, with The Crimson Armada now adding their name to the list.
The band’s version stays true to the aggressive spirit of the original while incorporating their own deathcore influences, delivering a fresh interpretation of the fan-favorite anthem.
