Gold-certified Mongolian folk metallers The HU have joined forces with Declan de Barra on the track “Pray To The Sun,” composed by Sonya Belousova and Giona Ostinelli for the upcoming second season of Netflix‘s adaptation of the beloved anime and manga series ‘One Piece’.
Belousova and Ostinelli spoke on bringing The HU into the project:
“We’ve greatly admired The HU for years and had been waiting for the right project to collaborate. Their fusion of ancient Mongolian tradition and modern metal felt like a perfect match for the two fan-favorite Viking giants of Elbaf, making ‘Pray To The Sun’ feel both visceral and utterly contemporary — defining the song and its characters through their signature vocal and instrumental palette.”
The second season of ‘One Piece’ premieres in theaters and on Netflix on March 10th, giving fans a first taste of this epic collaboration.
