The HU Unveil New Single “The Real You”

The HU have returned with a new single titled “The Real You”, offering an energetic first look at what’s to come from the Mongolian folk metal outfit’s forthcoming third studio album. The gold-certified band enlisted Dashka (Dashdondog Bayarmagnai) to produce the track, while veteran mixer Chris Lord-Alge (Green Day, My Chemical Romance) handled the final mix.

Speaking on the new release, Temuulen “Temka” Naranbaatar described the song as a defining snapshot of the album’s direction:

“‘The Real You’ single is the representation of our forthcoming new album. While we have traditional songs that have our signature rhythm in our third album, there are few upbeat, fast songs such as this single. We recorded this song thinking of our ancestors, riding fast on the horseback through the landscape. Listen to this song to express the feelings you have buried inside and feel the overwhelming energy we pass through to you. Enjoy!”

While the band’s signature blend of traditional instrumentation and heavy modern metal remains intact, “The Real You” leans into a faster, more driving approach, channeling movement, power, and ancestral spirit.

This summer, The HU will also hit the road as support on the massive Rob Zombie and Marilyn Manson North American tour, with Orgy opening.
