German industrial metal icon Till Lindemann, frontman of Rammstein, has released his new solo single “Es Brennt…” (“It Burns…”) along with an official NSFW music video. The clip blends live performance footage with behind-the-scenes antics, delivering the raw, provocative energy fans expect from Lindemann.
For the physical release, Lindemann is going all out. The upcoming CD and 12″ vinyl editions will include the title track, a cover of Marlene Dietrich’s 1930 classic “Ich bin von Kopf bis Fuss auf Liebe eingestellt”, and two unique remixes. Russian deathcore frontman Alex Terrible (Slaughter To Prevail) contributed the intense ‘The Terrible Version’, while Gregor Mackintosh of Paradise Lost added his gothic-infused ‘Doomfire Version’.
A limited 7″ pressing will feature just “Es Brennt…” and the Dietrich cover. Pre-orders are live now via till-lindemann.lnk.to/EsBrennt.
