SLIPKNOT’s Clown Introduces New Custom Minecraft Realm ‘Vernearth’

lipknot percussionist and artistic director M. Shawn “Clown” Crahan has launched a unique new Minecraft realm titled ‘Vernearth’. This custom multi-mode world offers a seasonal approach, drawing inspiration from various elements of the Slipknot universe. Each 45-day season will feature a different theme, with the first season inspired by the band’s iconic 2001 track “The Heretic Anthem” from Iowa.

The game offers four major modes, each offering something unique to different types of players, from survival enthusiasts to competitive gamers:

• Oblivion — The Core World: The heart of Vernearth, Oblivion is a custom-generated survival world with an eerie, “clown”-inspired atmosphere. Players will traverse dangerous landscapes, battle custom factions, and uncover the lore behind three key cities: Raziel, Seniomsed, and The City of Eternal.
• PVP / Event Server — The Arena: For fast-paced, high-intensity competition, the PVP/Event mode hosts weekly tournaments and dynamic content moments. Players will face off in four custom-designed arenas: The Circle Sphere, The Blood Square, The Blood Oval, and UnEden, with modes like Last Man Standing and Duels. Participants will earn “War” currency to unlock exclusive cosmetics and items.
• Plotworld — The Sanctuary: This mode provides a safe, creative environment where players can build, collaborate, and take part in monthly build contests. With access to creative mode and a Hall of Fame showcase, Plotworld offers an outlet for players to contribute artistically to the Vernearth universe.
• Challenge Mode — Vernearth’s Signature Experience: A seasonal, high-stakes world where the ultimate challenge awaits. Players have just one life to survive in this brutal mode, which is defined by a new Slipknot-inspired theme and world generation every 45 days. The theme for the first season, The Heretic Anthem, brings chaos and danger, followed by The Dying Song (Time To Sing) in Season 2, and Friend or Foe? in Season 3—where random elements will shake up gameplay.

Seasons:

Vernearth’s seasons evolve from Season 1: The Heretic Anthem, with its chaotic and blood-red world, to Season 2: The Dying Song, a realm of twilight and decay, and finally to Season 3: Friend or Foe?, where total randomness impacts every aspect of the world.

As players survive each season, they will earn permanent titles, exclusive cosmetics, Hall of Heroes placements, and a share of the prize pool.
