Meshuggah, Testament and Sylosis are among the latest additions to the 2027 Sonic Temple Art + Music Festival, joining a growing bill that spans extreme metal, thrash, pop-punk and alternative rock.
The annual Columbus, Ohio, festival has been revealing its lineup in stages ahead of a full announcement expected later this week. The latest wave of confirmations also includes The All-American Rejects, Switchfoot and Bowling For Soup.
For Meshuggah fans, the booking could be particularly notable, as the Swedish extreme metal pioneers appear to be preparing plans to mark their 40th anniversary in 2027. Their appearance at Sonic Temple would give North American fans an opportunity to catch the band during that milestone year.
Last week, Iron Maiden were announced as the festival’s first headliner. Other previously confirmed performers include A Perfect Circle, Sleeping With Sirens, Primus, Saosin, Clutch, PRESIDENT, Escape The Fate, Imminence, Crowbar, PeelingFlesh, Emmure, Showing Teeth and Vana.
The 2027 Sonic Temple Art + Music Festival will take place May 13–16 at Historic Crew Stadium in Columbus, Ohio. More artists are expected to be revealed with the full lineup announcement slated for this week.
