Alternative metal band A Killer’s Confession has announced the addition of Richard “Stitch” Thomas to their lineup. Thomas, a former bandmate of frontman Waylon Reavis during their time in Mushroomhead, will take on the role of keyboardist and backup vocalist.
The inclusion of Thomas signals an exciting new chapter for the band, with Reavis sharing a video clip of the two singing the track “Martyr,” with the caption:

Jess Ariane Jeff always been bomb. If you haven’t heard the new lead singer for mushroomhead, he sucks seen them live in PHX a few years ago. Dude even tried to do bwomp and failed miserably at it. Rather have Jeff every day of the year.

Brandon Knöp I love Jeff, but the last several times I saw him live he was lip syncing. That said, he was one of the few members that were incredibly respectful and cool with my band when we opened for them in stark contrast to the other members that were complete rude asshole towards us. He’s not the performer he used to be, but he’s an amazing human being with a great catalogue of work.
Steve Weigel ya I wasn’t impressed with the show In 2022 or 2023 when they toured with static x and ff. Even had my leg to get autographed and they hauled ass out to avoid people.

I think in 2013 or 2014 was last time whole band was together. They were super loyal to their fans used to come out and do meet and greets. I’ve met the original band long ago before there was YouTube and all that got to hang out with them at Pops in Sauget, IL. When I saw them a few years ago in Phoenix brought my kids so they could experience them. The venue was shit and so was the singing Miss Jackie wasn’t even with them at that tour. I’m an amp lbka now and was trying to get them to autograph my mushroomhead leg. They came and went so fast didn’t even give people a chance to see them. Was some what let down at that point. I like putting different stuff on my leg and at the time it was MRH War Machine shirt. Mind you I’m 40 now and been listening to these guys since mid to late 90s.

This is like what happened to the original members of In Flames – they left and made a new band, the Halo Effect, and it sounds just like old school In Flames. Current In Flames sounds like new In Flames and everyone wins. Hopefully something like this is in the works. I can’t stand the current lineup of Mushroomhead, nor the last 3 albums, but I can’t get into Killers Confession either – it’s just not consistent enough for me in any one area – like I need my music kind of in the box, when I play and album I want it all to sound consistently the same kind of theme, like a Meshuggah or Tool album (or like some current Deathcore bands like Lorna Shore).
Chris Wightman I’ve seen killers confession live and met Waylon twice he’s awesome as hell amd they were great live.
