Staind Frontman Aaron Lewis Unveils Politically-Charged Solo Track “Give My Country Back”

Aaron Lewis has released a new solo single titled “Give My Country Back”, the title track from his upcoming country album due out July 17.

The outspoken Staind vocalist has long blended conservative political themes into his solo material, and the new song continues that direction with lyrics centered around patriotism, division, and modern American culture.

Lewis has already been performing the track live during recent solo appearances and is expected to support the album throughout 2026 with an extensive touring schedule, including appearances at the controversial Rock The Country festival series.

The release also follows recent backlash surrounding politically-themed merchandise tied to Lewis’ ongoing solo touring campaign.

The forthcoming album, also titled ‘Give My Country Back’, will feature 10 tracks:

Lyrically, the new single leans heavily into Lewis’ political messaging, including lines such as:

“If you don’t like my country, you can give my country back”

and

“You wave a flag from somewhere else while you’re burning mine”

While Lewis continues focusing on his country career, he recently confirmed that Staind are also preparing to return with a new studio album. The band reportedly completed work on their ninth full-length release, with more details expected sometime before 2027.
