    ACID BATH Announce Spring 2026 Shows With Obituary, Baroness, High On Fire & More

    Influential sludge metal pioneers Acid Bath have revealed two new shows for spring 2026, continuing their ongoing reunion run. Both dates feature some of metal’s heaviest hitters, including death metal veterans Obituary, GRAMMY-winning sludge outfit High On Fire, and progressive sludge metallers Baroness.

    The newly announced shows are:

    03/28 Houston, TX – White Oak Music Hall Lawn (feat. Obituary, High On Fire & Necrofier)
    04/04 Dallas, TX – South Side Ballroom (feat. Baroness & Fugitive)

    Pre-sales are available now using code ‘GRAVEGAME’ for Houston and ‘PRAISEBOB’ for Dallas, with general onsale starting Friday, October 3rd.

    Acid Bath returned from a 20+ year dormancy with their comeback show this past April and have been touring steadily since. Upcoming dates include:

    10/08 Edmonton, AB – Fan Park at Ice District (feat. ANCIIENTS, Mares Of Thrace & All Hail The Yeti)

    12/05-06 Denver, CO – Fillmore Auditorium (‘Decibel Magazine Metal & Beer Fest: Denver‘)
    12/12 Chicago, IL – Salt Shed (feat. High On Fire & Weedeater)
    03/07 Sayreville, NJ – Starland Ballroom (feat. Baroness & The Skull)
    03/13 Cleveland, OH – Agora Theatre (feat. Midnight, Amigo The Devil, Nunslaughter & Radian)
    03/21 Grundy County, TN – The Caverns (feat. Obituary, Herakleion & Saint Avangeline)

      Anyone that’s been to any of the reunion shows, how have they been?

      These records sound very difficult to pull off live, especially with a 20 plus year dormancy!

        Andrew Prevost I’ve only seen footage but it sounds awesome to me. And Sammy really fills out the heavy vocals. Wish I was seeing them in Toronto this weekend. Never thought they’d be back. Hopefully get another chance

        Andrew Prevost I have been to 3. They sound amazing and Dax absolutely still has it! And Sammy’s screams… 3 times! 😉 The subtle changes to some of the songs are something that I found myself looking forward to hearing. 100% “pulled off!”

          Aaron Parham actually correct me if I’m wrong but I think Dax didn’t play publicly for 15 years, so I feel like my questions are pretty valid

          I’m a super fan, just like everyone else here, just hoping for an awesome experience

        Andrew Prevost the show in Minneapolis was the most fun I’ve had at any show in the past 30 something yearsi saw them my senior year

        Andrew Prevost I saw them a week and a half ago in Austin…they sounded incredible ❤️…it was a spiritual experience. I cried thru most of the first 2 songs, and I’m already trying to figure out where/how to see them again.

        Andrew Prevost Dax still got it but sadly, and there’s absolutely no hate here, I don’t think he can pull off songs like The Blue where the majority of it is screaming. Same as A lot of the others where it’s mostly screaming. I don’t blame him. I doubt he wants to blow out his chords. But it’s a bummer we probably won’t get anything new on the current set list. I hope wrong but I don’t see it happening.

        Andrew Prevost Saw them at Louder than Louder Than Life !🔥And again in March in The Caverns🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥Dax sounded damn near the same as the albums if not better! He’s refined his vocals with solo projects and such! Just like the rest of Acid Bath !       We neeeeed Vegas!!!!! I just saw Acid Bath at Inkcarceration in Ohio!!! I never thought I’d ever get the opportunity to see them and I was blown away! I saw Obituary in Vegas a few years back but they were kind of rushed and didn’t play a very long set. This would be the show of the year to see! Acid Bath, Obituary and Boroness! I’ve never seen them before but I am a huge fan!! Make it happen🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻

          Robin Pickett it’s like the Chappelle show.. Almost EXACTLY like that..2 albums 2 seasons. You could never make Chappelle show again. Even if you’d try it wouldn’t capture that same magic. They’re both time capsules. I kinda wish they wouldn’t have gotten back together.. kinda diminishes the magic
