Acid Bath Perform “The Blue” Live For The First Time Since 1997

Acid Bath delivered a major surprise for fans during their performance this past Saturday, March 21st, at The Caverns in Pelham, TN, dusting off “The Blue” for the first time in nearly three decades.

The sludge metal cult favorites closed their set with the track, originally appearing on their 1994 debut album ‘When The Kite String Pops’. The performance marked the first live rendition of the song since April 1997, making it a particularly historic moment for longtime followers of the band.

Fan-filmed footage capturing the long-awaited return of the song has since surfaced online, documenting the emotional reception from the crowd as the band revisited one of their most beloved cuts.

The performance arrives amid a busy year of live appearances for Acid Bath, including U.S. headline dates, festival stops, and a major European run alongside System Of A Down and Queens Of The Stone Age.
