After The Burial Begin Recording Seventh Album, First Since 2019

Progress is officially underway on new music from After The Burial, as the band has entered the studio to begin work on their long-awaited seventh full-length album.

On Tuesday, March 17th, drummer Dan Carle and vocalist Anthony Notarmaso shared updates from the studio confirming that recording sessions have started. The pair spent St. Patrick’s Day tracking drum parts alongside producer Zach Tuch, signaling the early stages of the band’s next release cycle.

The upcoming record will serve as the follow-up to the group’s 2019 album ‘Evergreen‘, marking their first full-length effort in several years. Although the band hasn’t released a new LP since that record, they have remained active with standalone material, issuing the singles “Nothing Gold” and “Death Keeps Us From Living“ in 2023 and returning again last year with “Hum From The Hollow.“

While additional details — including a title, release window, or label information — have yet to be revealed, the studio activity confirms that new material is actively in development.
