Alexisonfire and Billy Talent have lined up a pair of major arena dates this summer, joining forces overseas to celebrate milestone releases that helped define both bands’ careers.
The Canadian post-hardcore outfit Alexisonfire, who recently began work on their sixth studio album, will perform their third full-length ‘Crisis’ in its entirety at the shows. Meanwhile, Billy Talent are set to revisit their sophomore record ‘Billy Talent II’, giving both audiences a full-album retrospective experience tied to the 20th anniversaries of those releases.
The run will see the bands taking on two sizable venues — London’s Wembley Arena on June 24th and Montreal’s Bell Centre on July 17th — marking a notable international pairing between the longtime scene staples.
Artist presales for the Montreal performance will begin Tuesday, February 10th at 10:00am local time via Ticketmaster, with passwords distributed through both bands’ mailing lists and social platforms. General public ticket sales for both events launch Friday, February 13th at 10:00am local time.
The groups have also partnered with PLUS1 for the shows, with $1 CAD from each Montreal ticket and £1 from each London ticket going toward EB Research Partnership, War Child Canada, Young Minds and ASTT(e)Q.
