A memorial celebration honoring the life of late Every Time I Die and Atomic Rule guitarist Andy Williams has been announced for September 27th at Buffalo Riverworks in Buffalo, NY.
Williams, who was 48, tragically passed away last weekend after suffering a medical emergency while performing at a professional wrestling event. In addition to his acclaimed career in music, he became known to wrestling fans as “The Butcher,” performing for promotions including AEW.
The upcoming celebration of life will feature a number of musicians paying tribute to Williams, including acoustic performances from Cave In members Stephen Brodsky and Adam McGrath, Four Year Strong‘s Dan O’Connor and Alan Day, as well as Anthony Green of Circa Survive and L.S. Dunes. Additional performers are expected to be announced.
Admission to the event is free, with tickets currently available through the official memorial website. Merchandise created in Williams’ memory is also available, with 100% of the proceeds going toward charities that were important to him. Donations can also be made through the site.
A video tribute is additionally being assembled for the memorial, with friends, fans and those who knew Williams encouraged to contribute personal memories and photos.
The organizers shared:
“Do you have a great story about Andy you want to share? Maybe a pic of you and the big man? We will be playing a video tribute at this event and want to include as many amazing stories and pics as we can.”

The memorial will serve as another opportunity for the music community to come together and celebrate the life and legacy of a musician who left an indelible mark through Every Time I Die, Atomic Rule, and the many relationships he built throughout his career.
