A West Coast memorial honoring the life and legacy of Andy Williams has been announced for November, with The Ghost Inside, Atomic Rule, Beyond Repair, Turmoil, Strife and Darasuum among the artists set to perform.
Williams, best known to music fans as the guitarist for Every Time I Die and Atomic Rule, was also widely recognized in professional wrestling as The Butcher. He died last month at age 44 following a medical emergency during a wrestling match, prompting an outpouring of tributes from across the music and wrestling communities.
Following an East Coast celebration in Every Time I Die’s hometown of Buffalo, New York, the West Coast gathering will take place November 13 at the Garden AMP in Garden Grove, California. The event is being hosted by Violent Gentlemen, with two additional artists still to be announced.
Atomic Rule, who were touring and working on new material with Williams around the time of his passing, will also perform in honor of their bandmate and friend.
“One more in honor of our friend, our brother, our leader ANDY WILLIAMS.”
Beyond the upcoming memorial, a statue and bench honoring Williams are planned for Gratwick Park in his hometown of North Tonawanda, New York. Fans can purchase custom engraved bricks for the tribute through the Andy Williams Forever memorial store.
