Animals As Leaders will spend spring 2026 on the road with two of instrumental guitar music’s biggest icons. The progressive metal trio have been announced as the opening act for the first-ever co-headlining tour from Joe Satriani and Steve Vai, who are reuniting onstage as the Satchvai Band.
Dubbed the ‘Surfing With The Hydra Tour’, the run will mark a new chapter in Satriani and Vai’s long friendship and creative history. The guitar legends are also set to release a new collaborative track, “Dancing”, on March 2nd.
Tour pre-sales launched today (December 10th), with general tickets going live this Friday, December 12th at 10:00am local time.
