In a now-deleted Threads post, Anthony Green appeared to shut the door for good on Circa Survive, stating:
“The band as you knew it is gone forever.”
While the band had previously announced an indefinite hiatus back in 2022, Green’s recent wording feels far more final than anything said at the time.
Since Circa Survive’s pause, Green has remained heavily active, fronting supergroup L.S. Dunes, returning to The Sound of Animals Fighting, and continuing to release music under his solo moniker.
As of now, no further comment has been made by the remaining members of Circa Survive.

One of my favorite bands for a long time. But, sometimes you grow apart from a band. CS is a good example of that. Actually started to not like his voice as time went on.
Their drummer always looked like he just hates being a musician. He hated being in the band. Dude always looked pissed and never did meet and greets or anything. Amazing drummer tho like inspiring skills. Just seemed like he hated his job like the rest of us.

LS Dunes is great, and circa survive had its time. Their latest albums were good but they peaked with Blue Sky Noise
Adrian Beuses maybe I caught them on a bad night, but LS Dunes was one of the 5 worst live performances I’ve ever seen. But their records have been great. Again maybe it was just a bad night

Circa had such an amazing run and I’m so glad to have experienced the type of energy they bring. I’ll miss them forever, but it’s so weird to be angry at any of the members for doing what’s best for them.
Circa was great! I lost interest over the years though.
