    AS I LAY DYING Reveal Lineup Behind Their New Comeback Single “Echoes”

    As I Lay Dying are set to release their brand-new single “Echoes” tomorrow, October 8th, marking the band’s first new material since their public fallout in late 2024. That controversy surrounded frontman Tim Lambesis, who faced renewed scrutiny after a string of allegations and leaked home security footage surfaced online.

    Following the incident, Lambesis and his estranged wife exchanged public accusations against one another, leading to further turmoil within the band’s ranks. “Echoes” now represents Lambesis’ latest attempt to rebuild the group—the third major lineup overhaul since his imprisonment over a decade ago.

    While As I Lay Dying have yet to issue an official statement, the song has already appeared on streaming platforms ahead of its scheduled release. Credits for the track confirm that Lambesis serves as the sole songwriter and lyricist, with several new and familiar names joining him for the recording:

    It remains unclear whether this recording lineup will also appear live when As I Lay Dying embark on their upcoming European tour celebrating 20 years of Shadows Are Security. The tour is set to launch later this month, controversially beginning with several shows in Russia:

          Yes, please separate the art from the artist. Surely it doesn’t matter how they behave behind the scenes, just make sure you send him money because he makes incredibly mediocre music nowadays, compared to what he did in the past!

          A line to be drawn is whether or not they have acted on said violence/made actual attempts to harm people. “Separating the Art from the Artist” is quite a slippery slope, and ironically, I’ve vouched for this for quite some time, but it’s also the responsibility of the listener to understand “Is this person doing actual crime/legible harm to real people because of this”, and Tim has done so himself.

          Now that we have an established definition, I can answer your question correctly, based on the perameters you set; I have listened to Ozzy plenty of times, and I would say I liked his music, but it wasn’t something I’d voluntarily put on by myself, usually a coworker or family member would. I have not been to any of his live shows or bought any records or merchandise from anything he was a part of, so he hasn’t seen monetary gain from me.

Great bands but can’t get anything together and keep it together. Did MIRE ever even have a tour? I think Jordan and Nick are top tier ,kinda sad to see nothing from them.

      Just watched the Ken Susi interview where he talked about the time Tim and his current wife were at Ken’s home and got into an argument and Tim spit in her face. Dudes an absolute piece of shit.

      I used to share the stage with Jack Daniels. Dude is an absolute monster on the strings. I was so stoked to hear he went on to play for War of Ages following his time with Hope For The Dying, his local band from Southern Illinois. Great to see him so active in the metal community still but fuck Tim Lambesis for being a piece of shit that likes to harm and demoralize women. Real tough guy.
