Akron, Ohio hard rock/metal band, Audience Of Rain, have debuted their new single “Antivenom“, which is available below.
Cody Griffin, the band’s vocalist, offered the following regarding the meaning of the song:
“Almost everyone has encountered toxic individuals or had a person in their lives who was only an illness. In order to convey the sense that the listener is above those types of individuals, the song Antivenom compares the toxic person to a snake and how they have control over you and are constantly slithering around, waiting to strike. The lesson is that as long as you have your antivenom, you can handle anyone. If you can find your antivenom, people like that won’t be able to hold you down. You are the antivenom to people like that and owe them nothing.”
