Hatebreed has been forced to postpone the release of their latest album. The band was originally planning to drop Weight Of The False Self on May 29th, but amid the Coronavirus pandemic, the labels manufacturers have been forced to shut down production. Along with this news, it should be noted that the band has also postponed the release of a new single which was supposed to drop on Friday, March 20th and their headline tour in the spring has been cancelled. The battle over the Ill Niño band name is finally over. It was announced yesterday (March 26, 2020) that the band’s now-former members – vocalist Cristian Machado, lead guitarist Ahrue “Luster” Ilustre, rhythm guitarist Diego Verduzco, have come to an agreement with drummer Dave Chavarri and bassist Laz Pina that will allow the Chavarri and Pina to use the Ill Niño name. Machado, Verduzco and Ilustre will continue on to do other projects.
