Rumors recently circulated suggesting that Fear Factory guitarist Dino Cazares had a career in adult films before his time in metal. Cazares has now responded to set the record straight. He wrote on social media: “This shit is too funny. First of all, prn was never my career before, during, or after music. I appeared in the background of a couple of videos and I have dated girls in the adult industry, but that’s it. There’s no video of me pounding and I don’t have a porn name. Have fun reading something that is not true.” The guitarist clarified that…

UnityTX’s blend of rap and metalcore recently inspired some unusual mosh pit behavior — at least outside of a Scene Queen show. As the band shared on September 21st, their set the night prior at Chain Reaction in Anaheim, CA featured a concertgoer twerking in the middle of the audience, right before a circle pit erupted. Fans and the band alike embraced the chaotic, high-energy moment, dubbing it a full-fledged “twerkle pit.” Currently, UnityTX is touring as direct support for mathcore outfit The Callous Daoboys, alongside Your Spirit Dies and Crush++. Further stops on the trek include: 09/23 Salt Lake…
In what feels like an inevitable headline, GWAR’s over-the-top stage show has drawn fire from conservative corners after their performance at this year’s Riot Fest in Chicago, IL. The satirical metal troupe acted out their trademark gory theatrics, which included mock “sacrifices” of U.S. President Donald Trump and Tesla/X CEO Elon Musk. Of course, this kind of spectacle is nothing new for GWAR. The band has been theatrically “executing” public figures for decades, with past U.S. Presidents including George W. Bush, Barack Obama, Hilary Clinton, and Joe Biden among those to meet their over-the-top fate onstage. The outrage first surfaced…

The feature was directed by Morgan Tedd, who shared his thoughts on the project: “I’ve loved Misery Signals for as long as I can remember. Sevigny initially shared the images to her Instagram stories (which can be seen below), but quickly faced backlash from followers given the numerous allegations of sexual misconduct against Manson (real name Brian Hugh Warner). Responding directly to a comment, Sevigny admitted the photo was a mistake, writing: “I’m truly sorry – you’re absolutely right. We unexpectedly ran into MM and Jonas in the lobby of…

Thank you both” The trio isn’t the only rock heavyweight collaboration making waves—Hagar and Kroeger were also recently spotted spending time with Tommy Lee (Mötley Crüe). View this post…
