Avenged Sevenfold have added another video game collaboration to their ever-growing résumé, this time teaming up with World Of Tanks: Modern Armor for the game’s ongoing Metal Fest event.
The multi-platinum alternative metal outfit have become a familiar presence in the gaming world, most notably through their recurring involvement with the Call Of Duty Zombies franchise. Their latest crossover sees the band bring their own aesthetic and music to the armored warfare game as part of this year’s Metal Fest celebration.
The Avenged Sevenfold portion of the event officially kicked off on September 1 and will remain active through September 21. Players can expect a selection of band-inspired content throughout the event, including Avenged Sevenfold-themed cosmetic items, tanks and music.
The collaboration follows the arrival of Iron Maiden’s own Metal Fest expansion, which launched in World Of Tanks: Modern Armor on July 28. The two metal acts are among the featured artists incorporated into this year’s in-game festivities.
For Avenged Sevenfold, the partnership adds yet another entry to a growing list of gaming appearances that have allowed the band to extend its presence beyond traditional music releases and live performances.
The Metal Fest event featuring Avenged Sevenfold is available in World Of Tanks: Modern Armor now and will run through September 21.
