BABYMETAL Make Chart History With Top 10 Debut On Billboard 200

BABYMETAL have broken new ground with their fifth studio album METAL FORTH, which debuted at #9 on the Billboard 200. The milestone makes them the first all-Japanese fronted band to ever enter the chart’s top ten.

The album moved 36,000 album-equivalent units in its first week, with 33,500 of those coming from pure album sales. Streaming accounted for 2,500 units, adding up to 3.28 million U.S. on-demand streams. Globally, tracks from METAL FORTH have already surpassed 200 million streams.

In a collective statement, the band thanked fans for their continued support:
