Balmora Stream New Song “Moon Light Hysteria” From Upcoming Debut Album

Balmora have premiered a new track titled “Moon Light Hysteria,” offering another preview of their upcoming debut full-length, ‘These Graven Halls.’

The melodeath-inspired metalcore outfit described the song as the thematic centerpiece of the record, referring to it internally as the album’s “title track” despite the differing name.

Speaking about the song’s concept, the band explained:

“‘Moon Light Hysteria’ is what the band refers to as the ‘title track.’ We wanted to simulate being trapped in a nightmarish cathedral or dungeon while an entity is hunting you.”

They also elaborated on the metaphorical themes behind the track:

“It also serves as a metaphor for life. We shan’t soon leave these graven halls of our lives’ suffering. The halls are you, the entity is only known to you.”

The upcoming album will mark the first full-length release featuring vocalist Paul Cole, who stepped into the band earlier this year following the departure of former frontman Chris “Senti” Misenti.

With “Moon Light Hysteria,” Balmora continue leaning heavily into the blend of melodic death metal atmosphere and emotionally charged metalcore that has helped build anticipation around ‘These Graven Halls.’
