Metallic hardcore outfit The Barbarians Of California have unveiled a new music video for “EARTHQUAKE,” one of the 12 tracks featured on their freshly released studio album, ‘MEGATONS.’ That record officially arrived on August 20th, with the band now offering up a visual for the aforementioned cut.
The clip was co-directed by Aaron Bruno alongside Justin Warren, placing the band in an unexpected setting as they bring the track’s earthquake-themed chaos to life.
Bruno explained the inspiration behind the song:
“I feel like we are due for another massive earthquake, so, I wrote a song about it.. .assuming that California will break off into the ocean and Arizona would then be the new coastline.”
As for the decision to film the video in a gym, Bruno added:
“I wanted to put the band in a setting you’d never expect to find us in.”
