BIOHAZARD Return With First New Single in Over a Decade, “Forsaken”

Hardcore/metal trailblazers Biohazard have officially returned with their first new studio track in over ten years. The long-awaited single, “Forsaken”, arrived today, June 16th, alongside a live-shot music video filmed earlier this year in Amsterdam.

The clip was captured at the legendary Melkweg venue during the band’s European run this past March, with vocalist/guitarist Billy Graziadei handling directing duties himself. While “Forsaken” has already been a staple in the band’s recent live sets, today marks the first time fans can hear the studio version — and it’s as aggressive and unrelenting as the Brooklyn icons ever were.

Graziadei commented on the release, stating:

“What started as three reunion shows of the OG lineup turned into three unstoppable years of kicking ass on stage night after night! Now we’re back with a new record that hits with all the classic Biohazard energy, louder and harder than ever.”

Bassist/vocalist Evan Seinfeld also spoke about the visual side of the release:

“We shot this video in Amsterdam, at Melkweg, an iconic venue where Biohazard first made our bones in Europe back in the late ’80s and ‘90s. It’s really organic, and a little sample of the energy of our first new album in 15 years, performed in a live setting. Make sure you’re strapped in and prepare for some real mayhem when our new album drops!”

The track is the lead single from Biohazard’s upcoming tenth studio album — their first full-length release since 2012’s Reborn In Defiance. An official title and release date for the new record have yet to be announced, but expectations are already sky-high given the band’s renewed energy and classic lineup reunion.
